About us

I am an experienced real estate agent and have advised and worked with clients of all nationalities across all aspects of buying and selling property on this lovely island of Lanzarote with its pleasant all-year-round climate, unique landscape and magnificent beaches.

I moved here from Germany in 1995 and in 1999 joined one of the island’s long-established estate agencies. I stayed there until setting up my own business and played a major part in increasing the agency’s sales, market share and revenues.

I speak German, Spanish and English and hence can comfortably conduct/ facilitate discussions and negotiations between buyers and sellers of different nationalities.

Given my years of experience, I have built up an extensive network of contacts across all of the island – agents, lawyers, local authorities, builders, suppliers of furniture and household equipment – among all of the relevant professional and business community.

Having lived here for almost twenty years, I know all areas of the island: the capital, Arrecife; the main resort towns of Puerto Del Carmen, Costa Teguise and Playa Blanca; the island’s other towns such as Yaiza, San Bartolomé, Tahiche, Playa Honda, Tinajo and Haria; the marinas in Playa Blanca, Puerto Calero and Arrecife; and all of the other small towns, villages and country areas. I am, therefore, well qualified to provide clients new to the island with advice on location, taking into account important factors such as children’s’ education, property values etc..

I am firmly committed to the consultative approach to real estate rather than the “hard-sell” approach. For those seeking to buy a property here, I always propose a first meeting (whether face-to-face, by telephone or by exchange of emails) to discuss exactly what the client is seeking as regards type of property, budget and location. For those clients selling a property, I think it important to first discuss valuation, presentation, marketing, advertising and listing.
